PT. Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Serang Mill is Paper Manufacture, part of Asia Pulp Paper. Located in Serang - Banten our manufacturing complex spans 550 hectares and operates with a production capacity of more than 1,000 tons per day. The main products of PT. Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper, Serang Mill are packaging papers. Our mill is equipped with advanced paper machines that are fully capable of supporting large-scale production requirements.

Join our team as Condition Monitoring Expert, responsible for ensuring the reliability within the paper mill.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

• 3–8 years of experience in Reliability Engineering, Condition Monitoring, or Maintenance Engineering.

• Understanding of vibration analysis and knowledge or experience in Partial Discharge Analysis.

• Strong understanding of rotating equipment fundamentals, electrical inspection, and preventive maintenance.

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical engineering drawings.

• Basic knowledge of laser alignment, vibration analysis, and equipment troubleshooting.

• Familiar with Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), and Loss Time Analysis.

• Understanding of reliability performance indicators, including Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), and their application in maintenance improvement.

• Knowledge of maintenance strategies, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Familiarity with PLC, HMI, industrial automation systems, and electrical control panels is an advantage but not mandatory.

• Demonstrate discipline, integrity, accountability, teamwork, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Job Descriptions

• Develop, implement, and monitor reliability strategies to improve equipment performance, availability, and operational efficiency.

• Conduct condition monitoring activities, including vibration analysis, partial discharge analysis, and equipment health assessments.

• Perform and support rotating equipment inspections, electrical inspections, and preventive maintenance activities.

• Read and interpret mechanical and electrical engineering drawings to support equipment inspection, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.

• Lead Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) for major equipment failures, recurring breakdowns, and reliability issues.

• Develop and optimize maintenance strategies based on equipment condition, failure patterns, and reliability data.

• Perform equipment troubleshooting and basic laser alignment assessments to identify potential failures at an early stage.

• Analyze equipment reliability and maintenance performance using MTBF, MTTR, and loss time analysis to identify failure trends and improvement opportunities.

• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, reduce unplanned downtime, and improve maintenance effectiveness.
