About the role

Commis Chef position at KITE – Asian Contemporary Dining, located in Berawa, Canggu, Bali. You will assist with daily food preparation and kitchen operations, supporting the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef during service while maintaining food quality, consistency, and presentation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with daily food preparation and kitchen operations

• Prepare ingredients and mise en place according to recipes

• Support Chef de Partie and Sous Chef during service

• Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation standards

• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations

• Work closely with the kitchen team

About you

• 1 year of professional kitchen experience preferred

• Basic knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation

• Passion for Asian contemporary cuisine

• Willingness to learn and develop culinary skills

• Good teamwork and communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen

• Basic English communication skills preferred
