Building Supervisor

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all construction activities on site, ensuring work progresses according to project schedules and specifications

• Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality of workmanship, materials, and adherence to design specifications

• Monitor health and safety compliance, ensuring all personnel follow safety regulations and protocols

• Liaise between the engineering team, contractors, subcontractors, and clients to facilitate effective communication and problem-solving

• Maintain comprehensive site documentation, including progress reports, daily logs, and photographic records

• Identify and resolve construction issues promptly, escalating complex matters to senior management when necessary

• Manage on-site resources including labour, materials, and equipment to optimise efficiency and minimise waste

• Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and company policies throughout construction

• Report on project progress and variances to management on a regular basis

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Building Supervisor or equivalent site supervisory role in construction projects

• Strong knowledge of building construction methods, materials, and industry best practices

• Thorough understanding of safety regulations, building codes, and compliance requirements in Indonesia

• Excellent project management and organisational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings and specifications

• Strong leadership abilities and experience managing teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders
