Engineering Supervisor – New Product Development (NPD) (Automobiles, 134221)

About The Company:

• The working venue is in Karawang.

• Our client is an Automobiles Company. Currently, they are looking for Engineering Supervisor – New Product Development (NPD).

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise New Product Development (NPD) projects from initial concept and customer requirements through design, prototyping, testing, validation, and mass production.

• Communicate intensively with customers to understand technical specifications, project requirements, product expectations, and development timelines.

• Act as the main technical contact between customers and internal departments, including Engineering, R&D, Production, Quality, and other relevant teams.

• Coordinate engineering activities to ensure product designs, specifications, and development processes meet customer requirements and quality standards.

• Monitor project progress, establish development schedules, and ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved.

• Review technical drawings, product specifications, prototypes, and engineering documentation, ensuring alignment with customer expectations.

• Lead technical discussions, project review meetings, and troubleshooting sessions with customers to resolve design issues and development challenges.

• Identify potential technical risks, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize delays and product quality issues.

• Coordinate prototype builds, product testing, engineering trials, and validation activities before mass production.

• Prepare and present project updates, technical reports, and development progress to customers and management.

• Supervise and guide engineering team members to ensure effective project execution and continuous improvement.

• Support the transition from product development to mass production by ensuring technical readiness, process stability, and proper documentation.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor degree in Industrial, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

• High Conversational English proficiency.

• At least 2 years of experiences as Maintenance Leader in Japanese Automotive.

• Familiar with IATF, ISO 14001, and/or ISO 45001 standards.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, CMMS, strong understanding of K3, PTW, LOTO, and JSA.

• Analytical, proactive, responsible, decisive, and team-oriented, with strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
