About the role

We are seeking an Audit Staaf - Mandarin Speaker to join our Internal Audit department in North Jakarta. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting the internal audit function and maintaining the integrity of our financial and operational processes. As an Audit Staaf, you will work closely with senior audit personnel to conduct comprehensive audits across various business units and functions. This role is essential to ensuring compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and international best practices in audit standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, executing and completing internal audit assignments across multiple departments and business functions

• Conduct testing and analysis of financial records, transactions, and operational processes to identify irregularities and areas for improvement

• Prepare detailed audit working papers and documentation in accordance with established audit standards and company procedures

• Perform reconciliations and verification procedures to validate the accuracy and completeness of financial data

• Participate in the evaluation of internal controls and provide recommendations for strengthening control environments

• Prepare audit reports and communicate findings clearly to management and senior audit staff

• Support compliance monitoring activities and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements

• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including management and external auditors, to facilitate audit processes

• Utilise audit software and tools to enhance efficiency and maintain audit documentation

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Internal Audit, or a related field

• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (both written and verbal) - this is essential for this role

• Proficiency in English is highly desirable for collaboration and documentation purposes

• 0-2 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or a similar accounting and compliance role

• Strong understanding of audit principles, internal control frameworks, and risk assessment methodologies

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software and audit tools

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities with the capacity to prepare clear audit documentation

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• Integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality

• Professional certifications such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or equivalent are advantageous
