Assistant Manager Bottom (Footwear Industry)

Job Overview :

As a Bottom Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for managing and improving production operations to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing, while achieving production, cost, and delivery targets.

Depending on the assigned area, responsibilities include:

• Assistant Manager Outsole: Oversee end-to-end outsole production operations to ensure safety, efficiency, quality, cost, and delivery targets are achieved.

-Production & Resource Management: Coordinate manpower, material, tools, and machines to ensure smooth production and effective resource utilization.

-Quality, Efficiency & Waste Control: Monitor production targets, material usage, quality standards, efficiency programs, and production waste to minimize losses and improve performance.

-Coordination & Continuous Improvement: Coordinate with Buyer, vendors, and cross-functional teams, manage Buyer projects, and conduct production planning and evaluation meetings to drive improvement.

• Assistant Manager Injection Phylon: Plan, monitor, control, and develop the departments under your responsibility, while driving improvements to increase production output in line with quality standards.

-Production Planning & Control: Plan and monitor IP & Pelletizing production activities to ensure output and production targets are achieved.

-Team Leadership & Development: Supervise, coach, counsel, and evaluate team performance to improve capability, quality, and productivity.

-Problem Solving & Coordination: Analyze and resolve production issues while coordinating with relevant teams to ensure smooth operations and reduce rejects.

• Follow company program:

  • Comply and Implement of regulations, culture OHS (including use PPE), energy, quality and environment to support company management system.

  • Provide information about work accidents, issues and provide advice related OSH, energy, quality and environment programs to participate and improve the company management system.

Requirements :

• Minimum Senior High School/Vocational School (SMA/SMK) education

• Minimum 5 years of experience in footwear manufacturing

• Strong awareness of Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) as a top priority

• Good understanding of footwear/outsole manufacturing processes, including IP Pelletizing, materials, machine operation, and production planning

• Strong leadership, coaching, communication, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills

• Strong orientation toward quality, customer satisfaction, teamwork, and operational excellence

• Understanding vission mission company and safety policy.

• Understanding standards in work areas related regulation of OHS, energy, quality, and environment.
