This role will play a key part in building a strong learning culture, improving service standards, strengthening employee competencies, and ensuring consistent hospitality service excellence throughout the organization.

The ideal candidate is not only knowledgeable in Human Capital operations but also passionate about developing people, designing effective training programs, facilitating engaging learning sessions, and translating training initiatives into measurable improvements in employee performance and guest experience.

We are seeking a hands-on hospitality professional who can identify competency gaps, develop structured learning programs, coach department trainers, and ensure that learning becomes an integral part of our resort's culture.

What You'll Be Doing

Training & Development — Primary Focus

  • Develop and implement the annual Training & Development plan based on organizational priorities, operational needs, competency gaps, and service quality standards.

  • Conduct Training Needs Analysis (TNA) in collaboration with department heads to identify employee development priorities across all resort departments.

  • Design structured training curricula, training modules, lesson plans, presentation materials, and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)-based learning content.

  • Plan and facilitate in-house training sessions covering hospitality service excellence, guest handling, communication, grooming, complaint handling, leadership, teamwork, and other relevant competencies.

  • Establish and maintain a structured New Employee Orientation and Induction Program to ensure employees understand the resort's culture, values, service standards, policies, and operational expectations.

  • Develop and strengthen the Training Within Industry (TWI), On-the-Job Training (OJT), and Train-the-Trainer (ToT) programs to improve learning effectiveness at departmental level.

  • Coach and support departmental trainers and supervisors in delivering consistent and effective workplace training.

  • Coordinate cross-training, skills development, leadership development, and succession development initiatives.

  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, practical demonstrations, employee feedback, post-training evaluations, and performance improvement indicators.

  • Maintain accurate training records, attendance, competency assessments, training calendars, and training reports.

  • Monitor training KPIs, training completion rates, employee competency development, and the impact of learning initiatives on operational performance.

  • Ensure relevant mandatory training, safety awareness, and compliance-related learning programs are coordinated with the appropriate departments.

Human Capital Operations

  • Support the Human Capital Manager in implementing HC policies, procedures, and people development initiatives.

  • Coordinate recruitment and selection activities to ensure manpower requirements are supported effectively.

  • Assist in employee engagement, internal communication, performance management, and employee relations initiatives.

  • Support the implementation and monitoring of performance appraisal and employee development plans.

  • Ensure HC documentation, employee records, and training-related administration are properly maintained.

  • Collaborate with department heads to improve employee productivity, service delivery, and workplace culture.

  • Perform other Human Capital responsibilities as assigned by the Human Capital Manager.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Human Capital / Human Resources, preferably within hotels, resorts, or the hospitality industry.

  • Strong hands-on experience in Training & Development, including training needs analysis, curriculum development, training facilitation, and training evaluation.

  • Demonstrated ability to design structured training programs and deliver engaging learning sessions for operational and non-operational employees.

  • Experience developing hospitality training materials, service standards, SOP-based training, and competency assessment tools.

  • Strong understanding of hotel operations and guest service standards, with the ability to translate operational requirements into practical learning programs.

  • Experience supporting employee induction, OJT, Train-the-Trainer, and departmental training initiatives.

  • Ability to measure training effectiveness and prepare training reports using relevant performance indicators.

  • Good facilitation, presentation, coaching, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple training initiatives.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, for training material development, reporting, and evaluation.

  • Good command of Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is an advantage.

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Hospitality Management, Education, or a related field is preferred.

Candidates with a strong portfolio of training modules, structured learning programs, and proven experience improving employee competencies or hospitality service standards will be strongly preferred.

What We Offer

  • The opportunity to shape the learning culture and employee development journey of a growing resort.

  • Direct involvement in developing hospitality service standards and employee capability programs.

  • Opportunities to design and implement impactful training initiatives across multiple operational departments.

  • A collaborative working environment that values continuous learning, service excellence, and people development.

  • Opportunities for professional growth within the Human Capital and hospitality management field.
