About the role

Patriot Muda Training Centre (Kediri) is seeking a Tutor Bahasa Inggris - Cabang Tanjung Selor to join our team in Tanjung Selor, North Kalimantan. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality English language education to our students. As an English Tutor, you will be at the forefront of our educational mission, helping learners of all ages and proficiency levels develop their English communication skills. This role is essential to our commitment to fostering linguistic excellence and cultural understanding within the Tanjung Selor community.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and interactive English lessons to students of varying proficiency levels, including beginners through advanced learners

• Develop and prepare comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum objectives and cater to diverse learning styles

• Assess student progress through regular evaluations, quizzes, and assignments, providing constructive feedback

• Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and confidence in English communication

• Utilise a variety of teaching materials, resources, and technology to enhance the learning experience

• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress

• Communicate regularly with students and parents regarding academic development and areas for improvement

• Collaborate with other tutors and staff members to ensure consistency in teaching quality and student support

• Stay current with modern English teaching methodologies and continuously improve teaching techniques

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field

• Proven teaching experience, preferably 1–3 years as an English tutor or language educator

• Strong command of English language with excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Demonstrated ability to explain complex concepts clearly and adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs

• Excellent interpersonal and classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate students

• Proficiency in using educational technology and digital learning platforms

• Understanding of current English teaching methodologies and best practices

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and contribute to the centre's overall success

• Flexibility and willingness to work with students of different ages and proficiency levels

• Passion for language education and commitment to student development
