Technical Trainer

About the role

The Technical Trainer (Photo Editing) at Veritacore develops the technical skills, quality, and performance of photo editing teams. Reporting to the Head of People Transformation, this role delivers technical training, assesses skills, provides actionable feedback, maintains training standards, improves workflows, and supports the development of new products and services.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct training sessions for new and existing staff on Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom) and other specialized tools
• Review edited images to ensure they meet company style guides, technical specifications, and quality standards
• Provide constructive, actionable feedback to editors to improve their skills and efficiency
• Coordinate and administer technical skill assessments
• Coordinate and administer well being assessments
• Adapt curriculum according to company and student needs
• Analyze team performance and workflows to propose improvements that increase speed and accuracy
• Produce high-quality, complex edits (e.g., HDR, item removal, color correction) for high-value projects
• Maintain training materials, style guides, and documentation for editing procedures
• Lead the development of new products and service offerings

About you

• Expert knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Adobe Premier Pro
• 3–5+ years of experience in high-volume photo editing
• Experience as a trainer or teacher - specifically technical training of inexperienced photo editors
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and provide constructive feedback
• Strong eye for aesthetics, color correction, and composition
• Experience in facilitation and training of large classes
• Experience in DaVinci Resolve or Capture One will be valuable
• A degree in photography, graphic design, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory
