Supply & Inventory Planner Lead

About the Role
Ensure stock availability meets sales needs while keeping inventory healthy - owning replenishment, production planning, purchase orders, and supplier delivery end-to-end.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field

• 3-5 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, or PPIC (same industry is a plus)

• Proficient in Excel (pivot, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Index/Match)

• Proven experience in purchasing planning and vendor/manufacturer coordination, including export-import processes and third-party manufacturing (maklon)

• Able to analyze inventory data, purchasing reports, and production timelines to anticipate reorder needs

• Strong communication and coordination skills, both internal and external, with clear and proactive updates

• Detail-oriented and resilient, able to work under pressure in a fast-moving environment

Job Description:

• Demand & Supply Planning : Consolidate and compare online, offline, and NPD/promo demand forecasts against historical sales and actual run rate to spot demand gaps, stockouts, and overstock, then build a rolling 3–6 month supply plan with SKU-level production/purchase recommendations.

• Inventory Planning & Replenishment: Calculate DOI, safety stock, and reorder points to set inventory targets by ABC classification, while monitoring stock across all warehouses and managing aging inventory.

• Production Planning: Develop SKU production schedules, ensuring material availability and coordinating with factories on capacity and output targets, while tracking actual output and escalating delay or shortage risks.

• Purchase Requirement & Open PO Control: Calculate purchase requirements for Operations Manager approval and control all open POs - quantities, due dates, ETD/ETA, and incoming stock - to prevent double ordering and monitor shipment delays.

• Supplier & Factory Monitoring: Follow up with vendors and factories on production and delivery status, identifying and escalating delivery risks, and support supplier performance evaluation on lead time, accuracy, quality, and responsiveness.

• Stock Allocation & Inter-Warehouse Replenishment: Allocate stock from the central warehouse to branches and 3PL based on sales velocity and DOI, tracking transfers through to receipt and rebalancing stock to avoid dead stock and shortages.
