Supervisi Outfitting

About the role

Supervisor Outfitting responsible for overseeing and coordinating all ship outfitting work according to technical drawings, specifications, and project schedules. The role involves managing installation of equipment, furniture, accommodation, and other outfitting components while ensuring work meets standards and timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all ship outfitting work according to technical drawings, specifications, and project schedules

• Ensure installation of equipment, furniture, accommodation, and other outfitting components meets standards

• Assign tasks and supervise technicians, welders, fitters, and related workers

• Ensure material, equipment, and labour are available as needed for the project

• Coordinate with Hull, Piping, Electrical, Engineering, and Production teams to ensure smooth workflow

• Monitor work progress and ensure completion meets set timelines

• Ensure work quality meets company standards, technical specifications, and project requirements

• Identify field constraints and take corrective action as needed

• Ensure implementation of K3 procedures and workplace safety during work execution

• Prepare progress reports on work, material usage, constraints, and inspection results for supervisors or Project Manager

About you

• Minimum D3/S1 education in Naval Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field

• Minimum 3–5 years experience in ship outfitting or shipyard operations

• Experience as Supervisor Outfitting or similar position is an advantage

• Understand ship outfitting installation and assembly processes, including equipment, furniture, accommodation, and ship support systems

• Able to read and understand technical drawings, layouts, and outfitting drawings

• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills

• Able to supervise work teams and subcontractors and ensure work meets targets

• Understand workplace safety standards (K3), work quality, and shipyard work procedures

• Willing to work in shipyard environment and follow project requirements
