Social Media Content Creator (Billiard Focus)

About the role

This role involves developing and executing social media content strategies across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube for billiard tournaments, seasonal promotions and brand campaigns. You will identify content ideas, capture on-location footage at outlet operations and tournaments, and independently produce short videos from shooting through to editing, subtitling and copywriting. You will manage community interactions, analyze content performance and optimize strategies based on data insights.

Key responsibilities

Develop and execute monthly social media content calendars for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, planning content around billiard tournaments, seasonal promotions and brand campaigns

• Monitor Indonesian billiard players, venues and tournament accounts to identify content ideas including amazing shots, come-from-behind wins, player stories, challenges and fun interactive clips

• Capture content on-site at daily outlet operations and billiard tournaments, recording player reactions, critical match moments and behind-the-scenes stories

• Independently complete mobile shooting and camera shooting, basic editing, subtitling, cover design and Indonesian copywriting using CapCut and other mobile editing tools

• Release pre-event teasers, on-site highlights and post-match clips to capture tournament trending momentum

• Analyze high-performing videos from peer accounts to extract actionable insights from topic selection, opening hooks, storytelling structure, editing rhythm and audience comments

• Manage comment sections and direct messages, responding to user interactions promptly with consistent brand tone

• Evaluate content performance based on views, watch time, shares and comments, proposing optimizations for upcoming topics and video editing

About you

• Indonesian citizen with native-level and natural Indonesian communication skills

• Must provide portfolio of short video works upon application

• Hands-on experience with on-location mobile shooting and basic video editing using CapCut or similar tools

• Proactive content ideation capability: able to source content ideas independently instead of only executing assigned tasks

• Able to work independently with strong organizational and communication skills

• Conversational English proficiency for daily work communication (verbal and written)

• Preferred: able to play billiards

• Preferred: existing connections with local billiard players or venue resources

• Preferred: prior experience in sports social media content operation

• Preferred: able to communicate in Mandarin

• Preferred: experience collaborating with KOLs / influencers
