Social Media Content Creator

About the role

SpeakUp Academy is looking for a creative, proactive, and hands-on Social Media Content Creator who can turn ideas into engaging visual stories, compelling short-form videos, and social media content that builds the brand and attracts new students. You will create content that inspires the next generation through public speaking, debate, writing, and enrichment programs.

Key responsibilities

• Create engaging short-form videos for Instagram Reels, Stories, and other relevant social media platforms
• Film and edit content featuring students, teachers, classroom activities, student achievements, and educational events
• Develop creative concepts, hooks, and storytelling ideas that capture attention within the first few seconds
• Produce high-quality visuals, graphics, carousels, and promotional materials
• Manage and maintain SpeakUp Academy's social media accounts
• Develop content calendars and ensure consistent, timely publishing
• Write compelling captions, headlines, and calls to action
• Stay updated on social media trends, formats, and best practices, adapting relevant trends to SpeakUp's brand
• Monitor content performance, including reach, views, engagement, profile visits, and inquiries
• Identify successful content formats and recommend ways to improve results

About you

• Experience in social media content creation, digital marketing, video production, or a related field
• Strong video editing skills using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar tools
• Proficiency in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite for graphic design
• Good understanding of Instagram Reels, short-form video storytelling, and social media trends
• Ability to develop creative concepts, write engaging captions, and communicate ideas clearly
• Proactive, organized, detail-oriented individual who can work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong portfolio demonstrating video editing, graphic design, and social media content
• Good communication and teamwork skills
