Security Presales Engineer

About the role

PT Graha Cyber Indonesia (GCI) is a cybersecurity company delivering Security Assessments, Vulnerability Assessments, Penetration Testing, Red Team Exercises, Compliance Services, Security Consulting, and Managed Security Services (MSSP).

We are looking for Security Presales Engineer Position, serve as the front-line technical force for business development, understand client needs and design and present endpoint, network, and cloud security solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the front-line technical force for business development, earning client trust through professional expertise and driving solutions to closure

• Understand client needs and design and present endpoint, network, and cloud security solutions

• Lead / support PoCs of security platforms; write technical proposals and RFP / RFQ responses

• Deliver technical demonstrations and consulting to clients

• Work with sales and delivery to drive the loop from opportunity to signing to delivery

About you

• Bachelor's degree in IT / cybersecurity-related field

• 3+ years in a security / IT technical role (presales, delivery, operations, technical consulting, etc.); for candidates with a strong technical foundation and clear presales potential, the experience requirement may be relaxed. Experience in security solution design, PoC, and RFP / RFQ and producing product marketing collateral (brochures, solution handbooks, white papers) are preferred

• Basic understanding of endpoint, network, and cloud security products; familiarity with how SOC/SIEM and EDR/NDR/HIDS solutions are composed; strong ability to learn quickly and translate needs into solutions

• Excellent client communication and presentation skills; able to lead client requirement interviews, technical solution walkthroughs, and product demonstrations, and to take part in PoC reviews

• Passion for the cybersecurity industry and a strong drive for business development

• English as a working language; fluent Bahasa Indonesia for client communication, solution presentation, and documentation
