Sales Representative - Mining Equipment

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Sales Representative with a strong background in the mining industry and a solid understanding of heavy equipment used in mining operations. The ideal candidate should have established relationships with mining companies, mining contractors, and related businesses, as well as proven experience in selling heavy equipment or mining machinery. The candidate must understand mining operations, the applications of various types of heavy equipment, and customers' operational requirements.

About you

• Proven sales experience in the mining industry, preferably in heavy equipment or mining machinery

• Good knowledge of heavy equipment used in mining operations, such as excavators, wheel loaders, articulated dump trucks, rigid dump trucks, and other relevant mining equipment

• Strong understanding of mining operations, customer requirements, and equipment applications

• Established network or relationships with mining companies, mining contractors, and equipment rental companies

• Proven ability to generate leads, develop new accounts, negotiate deals, and achieve sales targets

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

• Willingness to travel to mining sites and customer locations as required

• Experience in selling mining equipment, spare parts, or related machinery is highly preferred

• Good command of English, both written and spoken, is highly preferred
