Sales Executive – Packaging Materials (Pharma Packaging)

About the role

This is a hands-on, individual-contributor position without team-management responsibilities. You will independently identify and develop new B2B customers in pharmaceutical packaging, while following up on qualified leads provided by Hysum.

Key responsibilities

• Independently identify and develop new B2B customers, while following up on qualified leads provided by Hysum

• Visit customers, identify packaging requirements and build relationships with procurement, packaging development, quality and production teams

• Promote relevant products, including pharmaceutical foils, blister films, laminates and high-barrier flexible packaging materials

• Coordinate enquiries, quotations, samples, customer trials, negotiations and order follow-up with our China headquarters

• Maintain customer communication during quality or delivery issues and coordinate follow-up with the responsible internal teams

• Attend relevant exhibitions and industry events

• Keep accurate customer records, sales pipelines and forecasts in the company's CRM system

• Submit weekly progress reports and action plans to the Foreign Sales Director

• Achieve agreed individual sales targets

About you

• At least 5 years of hands-on B2B sales experience, including independent customer development and on-site customer visits

• Direct experience in pharmaceutical packaging, food packaging, flexible packaging, films, foils, laminates or related materials is strongly preferred

• Able to explain personal sales achievements and provide specific examples of customers developed and deals completed

• Fluent Bahasa Indonesia and professional working proficiency in English for regular communication with our China headquarters

• Mandarin is an advantage, not a requirement

• Comfortable working independently, handling rejection and following up on longer sales cycles

• Willing to travel frequently within Indonesia

• Based in Indonesia and eligible to work locally

• A valid driving licence is preferred

• Weekly, monthly reports to International Trade Director
