About the role

BMW Motorrad is seeking a Sales Counter to join our team in Bali on a contract basis. This role is pivotal to our retail operations, serving as the frontline point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders. As Sales Counter, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional customer experiences whilst driving sales performance and supporting the strategic objectives of BMW Motorrad's trade marketing initiatives in the region.

What you'll be doing

• Managing the sales counter operations, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment for customers

• Processing customer inquiries, orders and transactions with accuracy and efficiency

• Providing product information and recommendations to customers to support their purchasing decisions

• Recording and documenting sales data, inventory levels and customer interactions

• Coordinating with the sales team to ensure customer orders are fulfilled promptly and correctly

• Maintaining counter cleanliness, organization and visual merchandising standards

• Supporting promotional activities and trade marketing campaigns at the point of sale

• Handling customer complaints and concerns professionally, escalating issues when necessary

• Processing payments and managing cash handling procedures in compliance with company policies

• Assisting with stock management and inventory control tasks as required

What we're looking for

• Knowledge of motorcycles or automotive products is advantageous

• Proven experience working in a retail counter environment or customer-facing sales role

• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers

• Excellent numeracy skills and accuracy in processing transactions and record-keeping

• Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications

• A professional demeanour with a customer-centric approach to problem-solving

• Ability to multitask and manage busy counter periods efficiently

• Fluency in English and Indonesian is essential; additional language skills are desirable

• Flexibility to work counter hours, including weekends and peak trading periods
