Safety Engineer (HSE)

Spark Operations Technology establish a hyperscale AI Data Center in Batam, Indonesia, leveraging strategic location advantages, reliable energy infrastructure, and strong technical collaboration. The investment is structured in three phases, supported technically by Range Data, China's largest AI data center company.

Location: Nongsa, Batam, Indonesia. selected for its strategic proximity to regional markets, particularly Singapore, developed infrastructure, competitive land costs, supportive regulatory environment, and availability of skilled workforce. Total land acquisition of 30 hectares, starting with an initial 10 hectares in Phase 1.

Job Responsibilities

1. Organize or participate in the formulation of safety production rules and regulations, standard operating procedures, and emergency response plans for production safety accidents in data center parks;

2. Organize or participate in the formulation of safety production education and training plans, and conduct various safety training courses and develop courseware;

3. Organize and carry out hazard identification and assessment work, and supervise the implementation of various hazard management measures;

4. Organize or participate in emergency response drills for wor`k safety accidents at each branch;

5. Inspect the safety production status of the park, promptly identify potential safety hazards, and propose suggestions for improving safety production management;

6. Supervise and ensure the rectification of all potential safety hazards;

7. Promote occupational health education, testing, and safety protection measures;

8. Identification and elimination of risks associated with high-risk changes in operation and maintenance and production;

9. Work related to hazardous waste disposal and management plan submission, five-part form submission, and monthly environmental protection report submission within the industrial park;

10. Other work related to workplace safety assigned by superiors.

Job Requirements

1. Associate degree or above, majoring in safety engineering, fire protection engineering or related fields;

2. Five or more years of relevant work experience is required;

3. Familiar with national and industry laws and regulations concerning HSE management, and possess relevant professional qualification certificates;

4. Possess strong document writing skills, and be able to develop HSE management system frameworks and regulations based on the company's business needs, and promote their implementation;

5. Possesses extensive experience in construction and operation site safety management, and is able to organize and conduct identification and analysis of production hazards and operational risks, prepare rectification suggestion reports, and follow up on defect elimination;

6. Diligent, conscientious, with good teamwork spirit, good communication skills and strong stress resistance.
