Scaffolding Supervisor

About the Role

PT Marcopolo Shipyard is seeking an experienced and safety-driven Scaffolding Supervisor to lead and oversee our scaffolding operations in Batam. In this role, you will ensure all scaffolding structures are erected, modified, and dismantled safely, efficiently, and in strict compliance with maritime and HSE standards.

What you'll be doing (Job Description):

• Supervise installation, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding for vessels and shipyard facilities.

• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, lead daily Toolbox Meetings, and maintain 100% PPE compliance.

• Inspect completed scaffolding and issue Scaff-Tags (Green/Red) to certify safety and fitness for use.

• Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment to meet project deadlines.

• Resolve technical issues related to load capacity and scaffolding design, especially in confined or high-altitude areas.

What we're looking for (Qualifications):

• Minimum High School (SMA/SMK) or Diploma (D3) in Engineering.

• 3-5 years of scaffolding experience, with at least 2 years as a Supervisor in Shipyard or Oil & Gas.

• Valid Scaffolding Supervisor Certificate (Kemnaker/BNSP); CISRS is a plus.

• Experienced in Tube & Coupler and Modular/Ringlock scaffolding systems, including basic load calculations.

• Computer literate, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
