Relationship Manager

Job Overview:
Carry out financing and insurance business activities, including planning and execution in the manufacturing, transportation, services, and other industry sectors, to support the achievement of LPEI’s business targets.

Responsibilities:

• Develop target market proposals and identify prospective eligible debtors or clients within the assigned industry sector.

• Conduct marketing activities for LPEI products to prospective and existing clients.

• Analyze and formulate proposed marketing strategies to support the achievement of divisional business targets.

• Maintain and foster good relationships with clients.

• Conduct feasibility analysis of business proposals within the assigned industry sector for review by the reviewer.

• Perform rating analysis for prospective and existing clients within the assigned industry sector.

• Monitor debtors’ business activities, compliance with financing obligations and requirements, including taking preventive measures in the event of declining business performance or activities.

• Analyze and propose financing collectibility assessments and objective evidence of impairment, including the calculation of individual CKPN (Allowance for Impairment Losses), and maintain financing quality in coordination with related work units.

• Ensure the achievement of individual performance targets.

• Carry out all operational activities in accordance with good corporate governance and risk management principles.

• Follow up on audit findings and ensure their completion.

• Perform other duties as required by the institution and/or as instructed by the superior.
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree from a reputable university; a postgraduate degree is an advantage.

• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in banking and/or financial institutions.

• Experienced in managing clients in industrial estates and plantation sectors.

• Possession of a professional qualification in Risk Management is preferred.

• Possess strong knowledge and understanding of: (a) Banking or financial institution products and business operations; (b) Banking credit procedures; (c) Corporate finance; (d) Financial analysis; (e) Banking risk management; (f) Strategic management.
