Quality Engineer

Requirements

• 1-3 years of relevant working experience as a Quality Engineer.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 Quality Management Systems is preferred.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and understand manufacturing processes.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Able to work effectively in a dynamic and cross-functional environment.
  

Key Responsibilities 

• Manage quality-related issues within the manufacturing process.

• Identify root causes and implement permanent corrective and preventive actions.

• Conduct product, process, incoming material, and supplier quality inspections and audits.

• Ensure proper implementation and maintenance of control plans and quality documentation.

• Monitor and report quality KPIs, including scrap rate, rework, and PPM.

• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 requirements.

• Support first-off sample approvals and new product development activities.

• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement improvement plans.

• Monitor supplier performance and ensure incoming materials meet quality standards.

• Promote continuous improvement using tools such as Six Sigma, Poka-Yoke, and Measurement System Analysis (MSA).

• Support quality awareness training and cross-functional improvement projects.
