About the role

We are welcoming a detailed-oriented and proactive Quality Control to join our premier International Buying company. This role is crucial in ensuring standards across our procurement processes are met.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections and tests on materials, components, and finished products to identify defects and deviations from specifications.

• Oversee manufacturing processes to ensure products are made according to quality standards.

• Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and other QC activities.

• Collaborate with merchandisers to ensure client requirements are met.

• Develop and implement QC procedures and checklists to standardize inspections.

• Investigate and document root causes of defects, recommending corrective and preventive actions.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry certifications.

• Prepare quality reports and present findings to management and clients when required.

Requirement:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in quality assurance or a related role within the furniture or home furnishing industry.

• Knowledge of industry standards, testing methods, and QC tools.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Keen attention to detail.

• Strong documentation and reporting skills.

• Teamwork and collaboration mindset.

• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office or QC-related software for reporting and documentation.

• Good English proficiency (written and verbal).

• Ability and willingness to travel
