Quality Assurance & Management System Manager

Key responsibilities:

• Manage non-conforming products and coordinate the implementation of corrective and preventive actions to ensure compliance with quality standards.

• Prepare, control, maintain, and update quality documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, Forms, and operational standards.

• Ensure that all operational processes comply with the applicable management systems and standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.

• Conduct internal audits, follow up on audit findings, and coordinate preparations for external audits.

• Handle customer quality complaints and perform root cause investigations to identify and resolve quality-related issues.

• Deliver training sessions and awareness programs related to quality management systems and compliance requirements for employees.

• Manage the renewal process of company certifications and support external audits for Halal, BPOM, Kosher, and management system certifications, including document preparation, audit coordination, and the closure of audit findings to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

• Prepare and communicate Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) reports and responses to customers, ensuring timely and effective resolution of quality concerns.

• Provide problem-solving support related to quality documentation, including Certificates of Analysis (COA), IFRA certificates, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS/SDS), and other customer-required technical documentation.

• Monitor the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions and ensure continuous improvement initiatives are implemented across relevant functions.

• Coordinate with cross-functional departments to maintain compliance, improve quality performance, and support customer satisfaction objectives.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Management, Chemical Engineering, or a related major

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in quality management, quality assurance, or quality control within the manufacturing in chemical industry

• Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and relevant standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Halal, BPOM, Kosher, and company certification renewal processes.

• Proven experience in document control management, including the administration and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, Forms, and company procedures.

• Capable of conducting internal audits and coordinating preparations for external audits and customer audits.

• Solid understanding of Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Familiar with customer complaint handling processes and quality issue investigations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional departments, auditors, and customers.

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

• Highly detail-oriented with exceptional accuracy in managing documentation and quality-related data.

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
