ILON Academy is growing, and we are looking for passionate educators to join our developing Primary Years Programme.

What You’ll Do

Depending on your role, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences.

• Support strong academic foundations while developing inquiry, conceptual understanding, and student agency.

• Use formative and summative assessment to monitor progress and guide instruction.

• Differentiate learning according to students’ needs, readiness, and abilities.

• Create positive, inclusive, safe, and well-managed learning environments.

• Maintain clear assessment records, portfolios, and learning documentation.

• Collaborate with homeroom, specialist, and academic teams.

• Communicate professionally with parents and colleagues.

• Contribute to curriculum development, collaborative planning, school events, and professional learning.

• Uphold ILON Academy’s safeguarding, child-protection, professional-conduct, and data-privacy expectations.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant subject area.

• Experience teaching primary-aged students.

• Experience in an international or English-medium school environment.

• Good spoken and written English.

• Strong classroom-management and communication skills.

• Ability to design engaging and age-appropriate learning experiences.

• Ability to use assessment evidence to support student progress.

• Collaborative, reflective, adaptable, and committed to continuous professional growth.

Role-specific qualifications and experience are expected according to the position applied for.

Additional Advantage

• Previous PYP experience or relevant IB professional development.

• Teachers with MYP or middle-school experience are also welcome to apply, particularly for specialist subject roles.
