About the role

This role involves managing supplier delivery, cost, quality, and supply risks within an electronic manufacturing environment. You will monitor critical parts, drive timely recovery actions, and escalate supply issues to ensure no impact to production processes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage supplier delivery, cost, quality, and supply risks

• Monitor critical parts and drive timely recovery actions

• Escalate if any part supply to ensure no impact to production process

• Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and other related functions

• Provide support to the team to ensure effective purchasing operations

About you

• Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering, Accounting, Management or another major related study

• Experience as a Buyer, Purchasing Specialist, Procurement, or Material Planner at electronic manufacturing

• Experience in managing supply of electronic components, mechanical components or manufacturing-related commodities

• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills

• Experience in handling multiple suppliers and urgent delivery situations

• Familiar with ERP system such as Oracle, SAP, or equivalent

• Good analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Strong communication and coordination skills

• Proficient in Ms. Excel and procurement reporting

• Good command in English, both written and spoken
