Production Manager – Garment Manufacturing

Job Description

• Manage end-to-end garment production processes, including cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing.

• Develop and execute production plans to achieve output targets, quality standards, and delivery schedules.

• Monitor production performance, line efficiency, manpower utilization, and manufacturing costs.

• Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and operational efficiency.

• Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors, line leaders, and operators to achieve operational targets.

• Coordinate with PPC, Industrial Engineering (IE), Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC), Merchandising, and other departments to ensure smooth production flow.

• Ensure compliance with product specifications, workplace safety standards, and company policies.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, defects, rework, and production costs.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (S1) in Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, Garment Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in garment manufacturing, with at least 3–5 years in a Production Manager or equivalent leadership position.

• Strong knowledge of garment manufacturing processes, particularly cutting, sewing, finishing, and packing.

• Proven experience in production planning, line balancing, capacity utilization, and productivity improvement.

• Strong understanding of garment quality standards, production KPIs, and manufacturing cost control.

• Demonstrated leadership experience managing production supervisors, line leaders, and a large workforce.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and cross-functional coordination skills.

• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies.

• Good command of English, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate effectively with relevant stakeholders.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and production reporting systems; ERP experience is an advantage.

• Knowledge of different fabrications and style categories for jackets and outerwear would be an added advantage.

• Willingness to be based at the assigned manufacturing facility, specially Cileungsi, Bogor Regency and Wonogiri Central Java
