Production Line Leader

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Line Leader to join PT. Standard Biosensor Healthcare in Purwakarta, West Java. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation and continuous improvement of our production lines. As a Production Line Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing daily production activities, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team of production operators to meet our output targets whilst adhering to strict healthcare manufacturing regulations. This leadership position is essential to our commitment to delivering high-quality biosensor products to the healthcare industry.

What you'll be doing

• Supervising and coordinating daily production line activities to ensure targets are met and schedules are maintained

• Managing and mentoring production line operators, providing training, performance feedback and development opportunities

• Monitoring product quality throughout the manufacturing process and implementing corrective actions when deviations occur

• Conducting safety inspections and ensuring all team members comply with health and safety protocols and regulations

• Maintaining accurate production records, documentation and reports in accordance with healthcare manufacturing standards

• Identifying inefficiencies and leading continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste

• Communicating with other departments including Quality Assurance, Planning and Maintenance to ensure smooth operations

• Troubleshooting equipment issues and liaising with maintenance teams to minimize downtime

• Ensuring regulatory compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and other relevant healthcare manufacturing standards

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience in manufacturing production environments, prefer medical device manufacture, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role

• Education min. high school/equivalent in any major

• Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling and line optimization techniques

• Familiarity with medical device or pharmaceutical manufacturing standards, including GMP compliance

• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop team members effectively

• Excellent understanding of quality control processes and product defect identification

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions under pressure

• Experience with production management systems and data analysis

• Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal forms

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
