About the role

PT New Era Innovation Industrial is seeking a skilled Offset Printing Operator to join our production team in Semarang, Central Java. As an Offset Printing Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining offset printing machinery to produce high-quality printed materials. This position is essential to ensuring our production targets are met whilst maintaining the highest standards of print quality and safety. You will work on-site at our Semarang facility, where you will be part of a dynamic team committed to excellence in printing production.

Key responsibilities

• Operate offset printing machines in accordance with production specifications and quality standards

• Set up printing plates, ink systems and paper feed mechanisms on printing equipment

• Monitor print quality during production runs and make necessary adjustments to ensure consistent output

• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of offset printing machinery to ensure optimal performance

• Inspect printed materials for defects, colour accuracy and proper registration

• Maintain accurate production records and document any issues or downtime

• Follow all health and safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production progress and any equipment problems

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality

What we're looking for

• Proven experience operating offset printing machinery in a manufacturing environment ( esp. Heidelberg CD102 and XL106)

• Strong understanding of printing processes, colour management and print quality control

• Ability to read and interpret production specifications and technical documentation

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues

• Strong safety awareness and adherence to workplace safety regulations

• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

• Good communication skills and willingness to follow instructions from supervisors

• Physical capability to perform the demands of the role, including standing for extended periods and lifting materials

• Flexibility to work shifts as required by production schedules
