Mandarin Translator / Penerjemah Mandarin

About the role

This role involves translating communications between Indonesian employees and Mandarin-speaking parties, including both written and verbal translation across various business contexts.

Key responsibilities

• Translate oral communications between Indonesian employees and Mandarin-speaking parties

• Translate documents and work information from Mandarin to Indonesian and vice versa

• Accompany meetings and provide direct interpretation of conversations

• Translate communications via WhatsApp, email, and other communication channels

• Help ensure information from management is well understood by the Indonesian team

• Perform other translation tasks as needed by the company

About you

• Proficient in Mandarin and Indonesian languages

• Able to speak, read, and write Mandarin

• Active Mandarin capability and good communication skills

• Able to provide direct interpretation (Mandarin ↔ Indonesian)

• Able to translate documents, chat, email, and work materials

• Detail-oriented, responsible, communicative, and able to work under pressure

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel

• Experience as a Mandarin Translator preferred

• Fresh graduates welcome if they have good Mandarin language ability
