About the role

Kraftworks Academy, a leading early childhood education provider in Surabaya, East Java, is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Mandarin Teacher to join our thriving team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Mandarin language lessons to our young learners, helping to nurture their linguistic abilities and cultural awareness from an early age.

What you'll be doing

• Plan and deliver dynamic, age-appropriate Mandarin lessons that capture the interest and imagination of our students

• Develop creative teaching materials and resources to support language acquisition

• Assess and monitor student progress, providing daily feedback to parents and the leadership team

• Collaborate with other early childhood educators to ensure a cohesive and enriching learning environment

• Contribute to the overall development and continuous improvement of our Mandarin language program

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Early Childhood Education, Linguistics, or a related field

• Minimum 2 years' experience teaching Mandarin to young children, preferably in an early childhood setting

• Strong command of both Mandarin and English, with the ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues

• Demonstrated creativity and passion for teaching, with a focus on hands-on, play-based learning

• Excellent interpersonal and classroom management skills

• Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to contribute to the wider school community

• Preferably female teacher who loves teaching young children
