About the role

This role involves overseeing production planning, quality control, inventory management, and team leadership in a manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for coordinating daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules, monitoring production processes from raw materials to finished products, controlling quality standards and production costs, managing inventory coordination, and leading a production team while ensuring workplace safety compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on machine capacity, raw material availability, and delivery targets

• Monitor the entire production process from raw materials to finished products to ensure operations run effectively, efficiently, and in accordance with company SOPs

• Address technical issues in the field, such as machine breakdowns, material supply delays, or other work obstacles in coordination with relevant teams

• Maintain product quality standards to meet company specifications through close coordination with QC and Laboratory teams

• Control and analyse production costs (labour, raw materials, energy) and propose process innovations to reduce waste and improve yield

• Monitor raw material usage and coordinate with PPIC, Warehouse, and Purchasing departments to ensure smooth stock flow in production lines

• Prepare periodic performance and production reports (daily/weekly/monthly) for evaluation and reporting to General Manager or Management

• Assign tasks, manage work schedules (shifts), and evaluate performance and discipline levels of the production team (Leaders, Supervisors, Operators)

• Enforce HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) procedures in the factory area to ensure a safe working environment and minimise workplace accident risks

About you

• Minimum S1 degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field

• Minimum 10 years of experience in a Production Manager/Supervisor position (preferably in manufacturing industry)

• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and conflict management capabilities

• Fluent in English communication (Korean language proficiency is a significant advantage for coordination with expatriate management)

• Understanding of quality management systems (ISO), HSE, and Continuous Improvement/Lean Manufacturing concepts
