Management Driver

About the role

Management Driver Staff role responsible for ensuring the availability of qualified trucking trailer drivers according to operational requirements and managing all aspects of driver operations, recruitment, training, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the availability of qualified trucking trailer drivers according to operational requirements and report driver availability to the Planner

• Conduct recruitment and selection of trucking trailer drivers based on established qualifications

• Conduct driver induction and training to ensure compliance with operational procedures and safety standards

• Monitor drivers' compliance with trucking trailer operating procedures and company policies

• Monitor trip execution, driver standby arrangements, driver availability, and shift handovers

• Provide coaching and guidance to drivers to promote safe driving behavior and compliance with safety regulations

• Address driver violations and ensure compliance with company rules, operational procedures, and safety policies

• Maintain a positive working environment to improve driver engagement and minimize turnover

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management, Logistics, Transportation, or a related field

• Minimum 2 years of experience in driver management, transportation, or trucking operations

• Good understanding of driver recruitment, training, operational scheduling, and driver performance monitoring

• Knowledge of defensive driving, safety procedures, and driver compliance

• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and organizational skills
