Legal Superintendent

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and competent Legal professional to join our Company Group. This is a full-time position with a 3-month probation period. As a Legal Superintendent, you will play an important role in supporting project execution in a timely manner and ensuring compliance with prevailing laws and regulations.

What you'll be doing

• Handle new projects, including conducting Legal Due Diligence, liaising with lawyers and notaries, coordinating and monitoring land acquisition, and other related legal matters to support project implementation.

• Provide legal analysis and advice to Management regarding new regulations or any on going legal issues.  

• Draft and review agreements, legal documents, and licenses related to the Company operations and new projects.

• Maintain the validity of licenses, and handle legal compliance matters, including coordination with relevant government authorities (e.g., BKPM, ESDM Ministry).

• Handle legal documentation

• Support other departments in resolving legal matters.

What we're looking for

• At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (S.H.) from a reputable university; a Master’s Degree in Law is preferred.

• Minimum 5 – 8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the plantation or mining, or related industry.

• Good understanding of Company Law, Property & Land Law, Merger & Acquisition, and general legal principles.

• Familiar with OSS, PBG/SLF and PKKPR.

• Strong communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.

• Willing to undertake business trips as required.
