Legal Manager

We are looking for an experienced and business-oriented Legal Manager to lead the company's legal function and provide legal advise across commercial, operational, regulatory, and corporate matters. The Legal Manager will play a key role in safeguarding the company's interests, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, managing legal risks, and supporting business growth through practical and commercially focused legal solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a wide range of commercial agreements, including customer contracts, vendor agreements, service agreements, strategic partnerships, licensing arrangements, and other business transactions.

• Provide legal guidance and support for day-to-day business operations, ensuring that company activities, policies, procedures, and practices comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

• Advise stakeholders on legal implications of business initiatives and develop practical solutions to facilitate effective business execution.

• Oversee corporate governance matters, including corporate secretarial activities, statutory filings, board and shareholder resolutions, and maintenance of corporate records.

• Develop, implement, and monitor compliance frameworks, policies, and internal controls to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory obligations.

• Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and regulatory risks while providing strategic legal advice to senior management and key stakeholders.

• Manage relationships with government authorities, regulators, industry associations, and other external stakeholders to support business objectives and ensure regulatory alignment.

• Monitor legal and regulatory developments and provide timely updates on potential impacts to the business.

• Lead and manage disputes, investigations, claims, and litigation matters, including coordinating with and managing external legal counsel.

• Develop legal strategies to protect the company's interests and minimize financial, operational, and reputational risks.

• Lead, mentor, and develop the legal team while driving operational excellence, efficient legal service delivery, and continuous process improvement.

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor's Degree in Law (S.H.) from a reputable university; Master's Degree in Law or Business Law is an advantage.

• Minimum 5 years of legal experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.

• Strong experience in commercial contracts and business, corporate governance, compliance, regulatory matters, and dispute management.

• Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial agreements.

• Sound knowledge of Indonesian corporate, commercial, labor, compliance, and regulatory laws.

• Experience engaging with government agencies, regulators, and external legal counsel.

• Strong understanding of risk management principles and corporate governance practices.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.

• Business-oriented mindset with the ability to balance legal risk and commercial objectives.

• Excellent communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English, written and verbal.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
