Indirect Buyer - Junior Staff

About the role

This role involves sourcing, evaluating, and managing suppliers based on Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Service (QCDS). You will handle the end-to-end procurement process and coordinate with multiple departments to ensure efficient operations.

Job responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers based on Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Service (QCDS)

• Handle the end-to-end procurement process, including quotations, negotiation, PO creation, and delivery monitoring

• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and Incoterms

• Coordinate with Logistics, Warehouse, Finance, and end users for import shipments and deliveries

• Review and verify import and shipping documents

• Maintain supplier performance and identify cost-saving and continuous improvement opportunities

• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, procedures, and applicable requirements

• Prepare procurement reports and supplier performance evaluations

Job requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Management, or related fields

• Fresh Graduate or minimum 1 years experience in Purchasing, Procurement or Supply Chain

• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; SAP or Oracle experience is an advantage

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team

• Able to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines
