Hospital Operations Manager

About the role

Metro Hospitals Group is seeking a Hospital Operations Manager to join our growing healthcare team. This role involves driving operational excellence, improving service efficiency, and ensuring high-quality patient care while supporting the hospital's strategic and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily hospital operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery

• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve hospital performance, productivity, and service quality

• Monitor and evaluate hospital operational performance through key performance indicators (KPIs)

• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and patient safety requirements

• Coordinate with medical, nursing, ancillary, administrative, and supporting departments to ensure seamless hospital operations

• Manage operational budgets, cost control, resource allocation, and operational efficiency

• Identify opportunities for process improvement, service development, and patient satisfaction enhancement

• Collaborate with hospital management to achieve operational, financial, and organizational objectives

• Lead, develop, and evaluate operational teams to promote accountability and continuous improvement

• Support hospital revenue growth through service optimization and effective resource utilization

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management, Hospital Administration, Public Health, Business Management, or a related field

• Master's Degree in Hospital Administration or Healthcare Management is an advantage

• Minimum 5 years of experience in hospital operations, including at least 2–3 years in a managerial or leadership role

• Strong understanding of hospital operations, healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and patient safety

• Proven experience in hospital operational management, budgeting, cost efficiency, and performance improvement

• Strong analytical, strategic planning, decision-making, and problem-solving skills

• Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and cross-functional coordination skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

• Results-oriented, proactive, adaptable, and committed to operational excellence

• Experience in managing multispecialty or private hospitals will be an advantage
