Head of Architect (For Education Institution)

About the role

Plans, designs, and oversees the construction of buildings and physical structures to ensure they are safe, functional, and visually appealing.

Key responsibilities

• Meet with stakeholders to discuss project goals, functional needs, budgets, and timelines

• Create initial sketches and detailed 2D or 3D technical drawings using software like AutoCAD or Revit

• Ensure all designs comply with local zoning laws, building codes, and safety regulations

• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and project managers to integrate structural, electrical, and plumbing systems

• Visit construction sites regularly to monitor progress, verify compliance with plans, and resolve on-site issues

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of job experience in the same role

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program

• High proficiency in CAD and BIM technology, spatial planning, and material selection

• Strong communication, project management, and creative problem-solving abilities
