HC Manager (Manufacturing) - Tangerang

Our client, an established manufacturing company in Tangerang, is looking for an HR Manager to lead the full HR function for its plant and corporate teams. You will be a trusted partner to senior management, drive a healthy employee relations climate, and lead the HR team with strong people leadership. This role requires fluent English, as you will work with international stakeholders and regional or head office teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end HR functions: recruitment, onboarding, payroll, compensation and benefits, performance management and employee engagement

• Partner with plant and department heads on manpower planning, organization structure and productivity

• Develop and update HR policies, procedures and company regulations

• Lead talent development, succession planning and training programs

• Manage day-to-day relations with the labor union and employee representatives

• Lead Collective Labor Agreement (PKB) negotiations and its implementation

• Handle bipartite forums, grievances, disciplinary cases and industrial disputes

• Ensure compliance with Indonesian labor laws and regulations, including liaison with the Manpower Office (Disnaker)

• Lead, coach and develop the HR team

• Advise management on HR risks, workforce trends and people strategy

• Prepare HR reports and presentations in English for senior management and regional or head office teams

• Drive a positive, safe and productive workplace culture

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Law, Human Resources, Management or a related field (Master’s is an advantage)

• Minimum 8 years of experience in HR, with at least 3 years in a managerial role

• Must come from a manufacturing background, with experience handling blue-collar and white-collar workforces

• Proven experience handling labor unions, including PKB negotiation and industrial dispute resolution

• Strong knowledge of Indonesian labor law and employment regulations

• Strong leadership, negotiation and conflict resolution skills

• Able to communicate in English, both spoken and written (used daily in meetings, reporting and correspondence)

• Willing to be based in Tangerang, Banten
