Geologist

PT Daya Mineral Alam (PT DMA) is seeking a detail oriented and technically competent Geologist to support geological investigations, resource evaluation, mine planning, and day-to-day mining operations at our site in Ketapang, West Kalimantan. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing reliable geological data and interpretations to support mining decisions, resource understanding, and efficient extraction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct geological mapping, field investigations, geological sampling, and data collection in accordance with established procedures.

• Perform geological logging, sample description, and interpretation of geological structures and mineralization relevant to the company's mining commodities.

• Manage geological databases, sampling records, drill hole information, assay results, geological maps, and other technical documentation.

• Assist in developing and updating geological models, cross-sections, maps, and resource interpretation.

• Monitor geological conditions in active mining areas and provide recommendations.

• Support grade control, sampling quality assurance, quality control, and reconciliation activities as required by the operation.

• Ensure geological activities comply with applicable mining regulations, environmental requirements, safety standards, and company procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in geological exploration, mine geology, grade control, or resource evaluation.

• Understanding of geological mapping, sampling methods, geological logging, and geological data interpretation.

• Familiarity with geological modeling or mapping software such as Surpac, Micromine, Leapfrog, ArcGIS, or equivalent is an advantage.

• Willingness to work on-site.
