Full Stack Engineer (Payment/FinTech)

Job Descriptions
Coinut is seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer with at least 3 years of professional software development experience to design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable applications across our frontend and backend systems. The ideal candidate should have strong full-stack development capabilities and be comfortable working across the entire software development lifecycle. Previous experience in the financial services, fintech, cryptocurrency, banking, payments, or trading industry is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain frontend and backend applications and services.

• Build scalable, secure, and high-performance systems to support business and product requirements.

• Develop and maintain APIs, databases, integrations, and internal services.

• Work closely with Product, Operations, Compliance, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

• Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using modern frontend technologies and frameworks.

• Design and maintain backend services, application logic, and database architecture.

• Integrate with third-party services, financial institutions, payment providers, blockchain networks, and other external systems where required.

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve application, system, and production issues.

• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and testable code.

• Conduct code reviews and contribute to maintaining high engineering and development standards.

• Implement appropriate application security, authentication, authorization, and data protection controls.

• Monitor application performance and identify opportunities to improve system reliability, scalability, and efficiency.

• Participate in system architecture discussions and technical decision-making.

• Maintain technical documentation for systems, integrations, APIs, and development processes.

• Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to support new product development and continuous improvement of existing platforms.

• Stay up to date with relevant technologies, security practices, and software development best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience, with strong experience in both frontend and backend development.

• Strong proficiency in modern frontend and backend technologies, frameworks, APIs, and databases.

• Solid understanding of software architecture, data structures, system design, and software development best practices.

• Deep proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+), with a strong grasp of asynchronous programming, closures, and types.

• Solid understanding of NestJS core architectures, including Dependency Injection (DI), Modules, Providers, Controllers, Guards, and Interceptors and experience connecting NestJS with databases (SQL or NoSQL) using ORMs/ODMs like TypeORM.

• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and integrating with third-party services.

• Experience working with relational and/or non-relational databases (MySQL).

• Good understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices.

• Experience with version control, testing, deployment, and modern software development workflows.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects from development through deployment and ongoing maintenance.

• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Previous experience in financial services, fintech, cryptocurrency, banking, payments, trading platforms, or other finance-related environments is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with cryptocurrency exchanges, blockchain technology, wallets, trading systems, or financial transaction processing is a strong advantage.
