Forklift Service Engineer (Automotive Industry)

About the role

The Forklift Service Engineer is responsible to provide timely and proper technical service support to Rieckermann Philippines customers. This includes installations, reinstallations, preventive maintenance and customer relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Provide installation, maintenance and repair of BYD MATERIAL HANDLING EQUIPMENT

• Installation and commissioning of BYD Material Handling Equipment

• Perform preventive maintenance

• Perform emergency service at the customer's site, if needed

• Troubleshoot via phone, email or in person

• Manage and overview all requests for service

• Conduct technical project management for NEW, RENTAL and SECONDHAND BYD projects in cooperation with the local Order Processing Team

• Ensure timeliness and quality of site and service reports, job-cards as well as resource estimates

• Update the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system regularly

• Recommend spare parts to customers

About you

• Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience

• University degree in a technical subject, or equivalent

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Goal-oriented, dynamic, and high sense of responsibility

• Able to work well under pressure

• Able to work self-reliantly

• Team and disciplined working spirits

• Very good written and verbal English skills

• Readiness to travel frequently domestically and occasionally international and on short notice
