About the role
We are seeking an experienced EV Motorcycle Dealership Area Manager to join our team in Jakarta Raya. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial strategic role in driving the growth and success of our electric motorcycle dealership operations across the designated region. As Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple dealership locations, ensuring operational excellence, maximising sales performance, and establishing PT. Harmoni Target Indonesia as the preferred EV motorcycle retailer in Jakarta Raya. This role offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic team in an innovative, rapidly expanding sector of the automotive industry.
What you'll be doing
Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple dealership locations, ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures
Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and market expansion objectives
Recruit, train, mentor and manage dealership staff, including sales consultants, technicians and administrative personnel
Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, customer satisfaction levels and operational efficiency across the area
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, local business partners and community stakeholders
Manage dealership budgets, control costs and optimise profitability whilst maintaining service quality
Ensure customer satisfaction by fostering a culture of exceptional service and support throughout the dealership network
Conduct regular training sessions on EV motorcycle features, technology and benefits to enhance team knowledge and sales effectiveness
Liaise with regional and head office teams to communicate market insights, customer feedback and operational challenges
Implement marketing campaigns and promotional activities to increase brand awareness and dealership visibility
Oversee vehicle inventory management, maintenance and stock rotation to maximise sales opportunities
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally to maintain brand reputation
What we're looking for
Minimum 5 years of experience in dealership management, automotive sales or retail management within the automotive sector
Proven track record of successfully managing multiple retail or dealership locations and leading high-performing teams
Strong understanding of the automotive industry, preferably with exposure to electric vehicle or alternative fuel technology
Excellent sales acumen with demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed targets
Outstanding leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire, motivate and develop team members
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with proficiency in using data to drive business decisions
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills in both Indonesian and English
Knowledge of automotive after-sales services, customer relationship management and dealership operations
Valid Indonesian driving licence and willingness to travel across the Jakarta Raya region
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales or a related field is preferred
Experience with EV motorcycles, electric vehicles or sustainable transport solutions is highly advantageous
Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and dealership management software systems
