Emergency Nurse

About the role

An Emergency Nurse role based in Surabaya, providing nursing care in the Emergency Department. You will perform patient handovers during shift changes, conduct nursing assessments, develop nursing diagnoses, and coordinate individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs and clinical conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform patient handovers during shift changes and receive new patients, including conducting nursing assessments through patient history-taking and physical examinations in accordance with established procedures

• Develop nursing diagnoses and coordinate individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs and clinical conditions

• Implement nursing care and medical treatment in accordance with established SOPs, applicable standards, and prescribed treatment plans

• Provide prompt and appropriate first aid and emergency nursing interventions, and report actions taken to the Emergency Department physician and attending physician

• Monitor and evaluate patients' conditions and responses to nursing interventions, take appropriate actions within the scope of authority, and assist physicians during ward rounds by receiving and implementing medical instructions

• Coordinate patient consultations and referrals to appropriate healthcare professionals or facilities, and facilitate patient transfers to inpatient units or other departments as required

About you

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Ners) qualification

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the Emergency Department (ED)

• Ability to provide nursing care in accordance with applicable SOPs and standards

• Active Nursing Registration Certificate (STR)

• Must hold valid BTCLS/ACLS certification

• Detail-oriented, responsive, and patient-oriented

• Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to service excellence

• Willing to be placed in Surabaya
