Drafter Engine Machine

About the role

A Mechanical Drafter role focused on creating and revising technical drawings for mechanical components and assemblies. The position requires expertise in producing detailed mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, and part drawings in accordance with technical specifications and manufacturing standards.

Key responsibilities

• Create and revise mechanical technical drawings and detailed component drawings

• Produce assembly drawings and part drawings based on specifications

• Ensure accuracy of dimensions and alignment of drawings with technical requirements

• Coordinate with Engineering, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams regarding component specifications

• Perform documentation and systematic filing of technical drawings

• Ensure all drawings are completed according to schedule and company standards

About you

• Minimum S1 degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

• Minimum 2–3 years of work experience as a Mechanical Drafter

• Proficiency with drafting measurement tools

• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D/3D and technical design software such as SolidWorks or Inventor

• Ability to read and create detailed mechanical technical drawings

• Understanding of mechanical drawing, assembly drawing, part drawing, and technical specification

• Ability to read dimensions, tolerances, sizes, and machine component specifications

• Understanding of technical drawing standards and manufacturing processes

• Meticulous, disciplined, responsible, and able to work to deadlines

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Must provide a portfolio of technical drawings previously completed
