Overview

Join Satu Bumi, a manufacturer specialising in bespoke Glass Reinforced Concrete (GRC) products for architectural and construction projects. Our custom projects require flexibility, creativity and precision.

We are expanding our multidisciplinary Drafting & Design (D&D) team. Working with colleagues in Indonesia and Australia, you will turn project requirements into accurate 3D models and detailed shop drawings that support production and client coordination.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate 3D models and detailed shop drawings for GRC products.

• Interpret architectural drawings, project specifications and client requirements.

• Prepare 2D mark-ups and product schedules, ensuring consistency with the drawings.

• Check dimensions, technical details and completeness before submitting drawings for review.

• Revise drawings following internal reviews and client feedback.

• Maintain organised drawing files, revision records and product documentation.

• Coordinate with internal teams to clarify requirements and resolve drawing queries.

What We’re Looking For

• A minimum of two years experience in drafting or a closely related role, preferably within architecture, construction or manufacturing.

• A degree in civil engineering, architecture or a related field is preferred.

• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• The ability to interpret technical drawings, architectural plans and project specifications.

• Strong attention to detail, a commitment to accuracy and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

• A professional, respectful and collaborative approach, with a willingness to learn.

• Knowledge of construction standards and practices would be an advantage.
