Division Head Finance Accounting (Hospital)

About the role

Oversee all transactions within the Finance & Accounting Department, including finance, accounting, tax, general logistics, and asset management, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present annual audit reports with external auditors, develop yearly budgets, and generate monthly financial statements, cash flow reports (daily, weekly, monthly), and revenue reports.

• Manage treasury functions such as cash receipts, forecasting, payment approvals via mobile banking, and monitor accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory (drugs and general), ensuring effective cash flow and asset control.

• Oversee daily accounting activities, including month-end and year-end closing, payroll, utilities, general ledger, and check runs.

• Enforce policies and procedures to maintain adherence to laws and standards.

• Work closely with medical and commercial units to develop clinical pathways, MCU packages, and other initiatives.

• Coordinate annual audits and ensure regulatory compliance.

About you

• Minimum of 10 years of proven experience. Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is mandatory.

• Strong time management and leadership abilities, effectively prioritizing and supervising multiple tasks with high attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion

• Good in English, both spoken and written

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Economic, Management or other related fields
