Director, Fleet and Infrastructure Technical Services

1. Fleet strategy and lifecycle management - Set mobile fleet strategy for standardization, equipment selection, right-sizing, total cost of ownership, replacement, refurbishment, leasing, redeployment and disposal; align investment priorities with Operations and Finance.

2. Fleet maintenance, reliability and workshops - Lead maintenance strategy and common preventive, corrective, condition-based and predictive practices; improve planning, root-cause analysis, defect elimination, critical spares, repair turnaround and workshop performance.

3. Infrastructure asset management - Set standards and risk-based plans for roads, drainage, bridges, housing and other civil assets; prioritize condition risks that affect harvest access, fresh fruit bunch evacuation, safety and operating continuity.

4. Project and portfolio governance - Govern fleet and infrastructure CapEx and OpEx portfolios through clear business cases, scope, schedule, budget, risk, technical assurance, quality control, commissioning, handover and benefits verification.

5. Fleet performance, digital systems and analytics - Establish KPI and data governance and sponsor IVMS, geofencing, maintenance systems and dashboards to improve availability, utilization, fuel efficiency, route management, asset security and decision quality.

6. Safety, compliance, contractors and commercial performance - Ensure regulatory and company compliance for equipment, operators, workshops, roads, infrastructure and contractors; partner with strategic sourcing and procurement on contracting strategy, specifications, tender evaluation and contractor performance.

7. Technology, continuous improvement and business partnership - Evaluate mechanization, fleet and infrastructure technologies through disciplined trials; convert successful pilots into standards and partner across Operations and support functions to deliver measurable value.

8. Financial and people leadership - Manage budgets, variances, resource plans and benefits realization; lead and develop managers, professionals and supervisors, including talent, hiring, performance, succession and capability development.

Minimum Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in engineering, related field, or equivalent experience.

• Minimum 6 years of related experience in mobile fleet, infrastructure, engineering, maintenance, reliability, asset management, construction or complex operations.

• Experience leading technical teams and managing projects, budgets, contractors and multiple stakeholders.

• Ability to interpret operational and financial data and convert findings into technical and investment decisions.

• Ability to work across geographically dispersed plantation and mill operations and travel to operating sites as required.

• Fluency in English with excellent communication skills are preferred.

• Willing to be based on site, no roster scheme

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years of supervisory experience and knowledge of palm estate operations.

• Experience in mobile fleet lifecycle management, transport optimization, roads and civil-infrastructure portfolios.

• Knowledge of reliability engineering, total cost of ownership, project governance and contractor management.

• Experience with IVMS (in Vehicle Monitoring System), telematics, maintenance or fleet-management systems and multi-site leadership.
