Demi Chef Pastry

About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Demi Chef Pastry to join our pastry team. In this role, you will assist in preparing and producing a variety of pastries, desserts, breads, and other bakery products while maintaining high standards of quality, consistency, and presentation. You will work closely with the Chef de Partie and the rest of the pastry team to support daily kitchen operations, ensure proper food preparation and storage, and maintain cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with Nirvana Life’s standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the daily pastry preparation and production

• Support the CDP Pastry in daily operations

• Ensure food preparation follows the required quality and hygiene standards

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry section

• Assist with stock handling and ingredient preparation

• Follow all kitchen and food safety SOPs

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a pastry kitchen is preferred

• Good knowledge of basic pastry preparation and production

• Able to work well in a team and under pressure

• Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays

• Good attitude, discipline, and willingness to learn
