Database Geologist (Solomon Island)

Job Description

• Organize, manage, and maintain the exploration database for all Solomon Islands activities, including site visits, due diligence, survey mapping, and drilling.

• Develop and implement database structures for new and ongoing projects, ensuring data integrity, security, and proper geological database management.

• Coordinate with the Exploration Team at Jakarta Head Office and provide daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports.

• Develop and maintain dashboards (Power BI) to support data analysis, monitoring, and management reporting.

• Ensure work execution complies with the approved Work Plan & Budget (RAB) and company regulations.

• Support OHS implementation in daily activities and supervise workforce under responsibility.

• Proactively contribute to individual and team performance improvement to achieve shared targets.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Geological Engineering.

• 1–3 years experience in a similar position (Database Geologist / Exploration Database).

• Experience in Power BI for dashboard development and data visualization.

• Python knowledge is an advantage.

• POP (First Operational Supervisor) certificate and Basic First Aid preferred.

• Familiar with GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS, etc.).

• Able to work independently and in a team, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.

• Willing to be assigned to Solomond Island, with a 20:4 roster schedule.
