Data Quality Engineer

Job Description

1. Perform manual and functional testing of applications and software features.

2. Prepare and execute test cases and track bugs/issues using JIRA.

3. Perform API testing using Postman and support basic Selenium-based automation testing.

4. Validate data and prepare comprehensive test reports.

5. Collaborate & Coordinate with QA, Developers, and Business teams to clarify requirements, resolve defects, and ensure successful software delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in QA, Software Testing, or a related role.

• Hands-on experience in manual and functional testing, including test case preparation and execution.

• Good knowledge of SQL/MySQL for database querying and data validation.

• Experience with Microsoft & JIRA or other defect/issue tracking tools.

• Basic knowledge of Selenium & Postman.

• Good analytical, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Basic knowledge or experience in banking, fintech, or financial services.
